Why claim your artist profiles?
Section titled “Why claim your artist profiles?”When you distribute through LabelGrid, your music appears on platforms automatically. However, to unlock promotional tools, analytics, and profile customization, you need to claim your artist profile on each platform.
Claiming your profile lets you:
- Customize your artist page with bio, photos, and social links
- Access analytics to see who’s listening and where
- Use promotional tools like Spotify Canvas or Apple Music Milestones
- Pitch music for playlists directly to editorial teams
- Verify your account with a badge that builds fan trust

What you’ll need
Section titled “What you’ll need”To claim most artist profiles, you’ll need:
- A release already live on the platform (distributed through LabelGrid)
- Your artist name exactly as it appears on the platform
- Professional email (ideally matching your domain or social accounts)
- Social media accounts for verification (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram)
- UPC or ISRC codes from your releases (found in your LabelGrid dashboard)
