Promotional Tools
LabelGrid offers a small set of promotional features built into the platform, plus integrations for cases where you need more flexibility (smart links, landing pages, or full marketing campaigns).
Pre-Save Dates
Section titled “Pre-Save Dates”When you create or edit a release, you can set a Pre-Save / Pre-Order Date under the Date Settings tab. Once a release has a pre-save date set, fans who follow the release on supporting platforms can be notified and have it auto-saved on release day.
Pre-save plumbing is handled by the platforms themselves — LabelGrid sends the metadata, the DSP handles the fan-facing pre-save flow.
Posting to Social Platforms
Section titled “Posting to Social Platforms”From the My Releases page, click the three-dots menu on any release row to access:
- Post to Bandcamp — uploads the release directly to your connected Bandcamp account
- Post to Soundcloud — uploads the release directly to your connected Soundcloud account
- Post to YouTube — uploads the release directly to your connected YouTube channel (audio video format)
- Post to Instagram — generates a promotional clip and opens the Instagram post flow
These are direct posting actions tied to your distribution settings — they use the same release files you have already uploaded.
Export to Promoly
Section titled “Export to Promoly”Under the Marketing menu you will find an Export to Promoly option. This packages release metadata and assets for use in a Promoly campaign (Promoly is a third-party promotional platform).
Smart Links and Landing Pages — Use the WordPress Plugin
Section titled “Smart Links and Landing Pages — Use the WordPress Plugin”LabelGrid does not host customer-facing smart link pages or landing pages directly. To present your catalogue to fans on a branded URL, install the LabelGrid WordPress Plugin on your existing WordPress site (such as your label or artist site). The plugin pulls release data from your LabelGrid account via the read-only API and renders it on your own pages, so the smart-link experience runs on your domain.
If you do not run a WordPress site, third-party services such as Linkfire and Linktree are common alternatives — outside the scope of LabelGrid product.
