Dashboard Overview
When you log in to LabelGrid, you land on the My Releases view inside the Catalogue menu. This guide tours the top horizontal navigation, the right-side user dropdown, and what each area is for.
Top horizontal menu
Section titled “Top horizontal menu”The top menu groups everything you do with your music. Some items only appear if your account or role has access to them.
| Menu | What it does |
|---|---|
| Catalogue | Releases, tracks, labels, artists, writers/contributors, publishers — see Managing Your Catalogue |
| Distribution | Delivery queues across all DSPs plus the Audio and Video Transcoders |
| Marketing | Label Subscribers (CSV export), Export to Promoly, WordPress Plugin |
| Analytics | Streaming analytics dashboards — see Analytics |
| Artist Accounting | Artist royalty accounts, ledger, expenses, and statements — see Artist Payouts |
| Demo Inbox | Demo submissions to your label — see Demo Inbox |
| Royalties | Your label-side royalty summary and statements |
If a menu item is missing, your role or plan does not include it. Marketing, Distribution, and Artist Accounting depend on the relevant plan options being enabled on the account.

Releases list (Catalogue → My Releases)
Section titled “Releases list (Catalogue → My Releases)”This is where you spend most of your time. Each row shows the release artwork thumbnail, title, primary artist, release date, and status, plus per-row buttons for the most common actions.
Top-of-page filters: Search, Filter by Label, Filter by Genre, and a Date range picker. Click Add Release to start a new release.
The three-dots menu on each row exposes per-release shortcuts (post to Bandcamp/Soundcloud/YouTube/Instagram, Export to Promoly, Download Zip, open the Transcoder for this release). See Managing Your Catalogue for the full list.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”LabelGrid notifies you by email about important events on your account — review outcomes, delivery confirmations, and account/billing matters. Configure which categories you receive under My Account → Notifications.
Mobile vs desktop
Section titled “Mobile vs desktop”The interface works on mobile, but creating and editing releases (uploading artwork and audio, filling out tabs and metadata) is significantly easier on a desktop. Use mobile for checking status and reading reports; use desktop for the heavy lifting.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Create Your First Release — put your music on streaming platforms
- Distributing a Release — full distribution workflow
- Monitoring Deliveries — track release progress
