Beatport delivers high-quality files to DJs, so always provide the best source audio available.
BPM and Key
Section titled “BPM and Key”LabelGrid automatically detects BPM and Key from your audio files. This information is sent to Beatport so DJs can mix your tracks harmonically.
You don’t need to enter this manually - just upload high-quality audio and we handle the rest.
Metadata requirements

| Catalogue number | Required and must be unique per label (letters and numbers only, no special characters) |
| Featured artists | Must be in the “Featuring” field, NOT in the Artist dropdowns (common rejection reason) |
Distribution Requirements
Section titled “Distribution Requirements”Before you can use Beatport’s promotional features, your label must be enabled for Beatport distribution. This involves a one-time setup process including genre selection and approval.
