Release Tools and Actions

Each release in your catalog has a set of tools and actions available through the actions menu. These features help you promote your releases, export to additional platforms, and manage your audio files.

Accessing Release Actions

  1. Go to Catalogue > My Releases
  2. Find the release you want to work with
  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the Actions column
  4. Select the action you want to perform

Public One-Sheet

Create a professional promotional page for your release that you can share with press, playlist curators, and promotional contacts.

What’s Included

The one-sheet displays:

  • Release artwork
  • Release title and artist name
  • Track listing
  • Release date
  • Genre information
  • Streaming links (once live)

Creating a One-Sheet

  1. Click the three-dot menu on your release
  2. Select Public One-Sheet
  3. A new tab opens with your release’s one-sheet page

Sharing Your One-Sheet

The one-sheet has a public URL you can share:

  • Copy the URL from your browser
  • Send to press contacts, playlist curators, or promotional partners
  • Include in press releases or social media

Tip: One-sheets are particularly useful before your release goes live, as they provide all the essential information curators and press need.


Exports

Export your releases to platforms that support direct upload. These options provide faster delivery and more control than traditional DDEX distribution.

How to Export

  1. Click the three-dot menu on your release
  2. Hover over Exports
  3. Select your destination platform:
    • Post to Bandcamp
    • Post to Soundcloud
    • Post to YouTube
    • Post to Instagram

Promotion

Export to Promoly

Send your release to Promoly for professional promotional campaigns.

What is Promoly? Promoly is a promotional delivery service that helps you send releases to press, DJs, playlist curators, and other promotional contacts while tracking engagement.

How to Export:

  1. Click the three-dot menu on your release
  2. Hover over Promotion
  3. Select Export to Promoly
  4. Follow the prompts to configure your promotional campaign

Note: Promoly integration may require additional setup. Contact support if you need help connecting your Promoly account.


Download Zip

Download all your release assets in a single ZIP file.

What’s Included

The download includes:

  • All audio files (original uploaded formats)
  • Release artwork
  • Track metadata

How to Download

  1. Click the three-dot menu on your release
  2. Select Download Zip
  3. Your browser downloads the ZIP file
  4. Extract to access all files

Tip: Use this feature to back up your releases or to get files for external use.

How to Use Tools

  1. Click the three-dot menu on your release
  2. Hover over Tools
  3. Select the format you want to create:
    • Create FLAC - Generates FLAC files
    • Create MP3 - Generates MP3 files
    • Create clips - Generates short preview clips

FLAC files:

  • High-quality downloads for fans
  • DJ promo copies
  • Archive-quality backups

MP3 files:

  • Email promos (smaller file size)
  • Social media sharing
  • Promotional uploads

Clips:

  • Social media teasers
  • Preview content
  • Promotional snippets

Note: Processing time depends on the number of tracks. Large releases may take longer.


Availability

Some actions may only be available based on:

  • Release status - Some features require the release to be in a specific state
  • Distribution status - Export features require distribution to be enabled for your account
  • Account permissions - Some tools may require specific subscription plans
