Statements and reports

Statements summarize an artist’s earnings, expenses, and net payable amount for a specific period. Generate them monthly or quarterly to keep your artists informed and your records up to date.

Statement periods

Statements cover a defined time period — typically monthly or quarterly. Each statement includes all ledger activity within that period.

Generating statements

1. Navigate to Royalties → Artist Statements
2. Click Generate Statement
3. Select:
   • The artist(s) to include
   • The statement period
4. Click Generate

You can generate statements for one artist at a time or in bulk for multiple artists.

Statement contents

Each statement includes:

Section	Contents
Period	Statement date range (e.g., January 2026)
Gross earnings	Total royalty revenue before deductions
Expenses	Deductions applied during this period (advances, marketing, etc.)
Net payable	Amount due to the artist after all deductions
Breakdown	Earnings by release, track, and platform

Statement statuses

Status	Meaning
Draft	Being prepared, not yet finalized. Can be edited.
Pending	Ready for review by the label.
Approved	Confirmed and ready for payment. Locked from changes.
Paid	Payment has been made and recorded.

Reviewing and approving

1. Open the statement to review earnings and deductions
2. Verify all data is accurate
3. Click Approve to lock the statement and mark it ready for payment

Caution

Approving a statement locks it from further changes. Review carefully before approving.

Exporting statements

PDF export

Export individual statements as PDF files to share with artists:

1. Open the statement
2. Click Export PDF or the download icon
3. Save or send the PDF to the artist

CSV export

Export transaction data as CSV for accounting:

1. Navigate to the relevant section (statements or transactions)
2. Apply any filters
3. Click Export and select CSV

Transaction history	All transactions for accounting
Expense report	Summary of all expenses

Sharing with artists

You can share statements with artists by:

• Exporting the statement as a PDF and sending it directly
• Granting artist login access so they can view their own statements (see Team Management)
