Claiming Your Artist Profiles
When LabelGrid distributes your music, your artist profile is created automatically on each platform. However, these profiles are “unclaimed” by default. Claiming your profile unlocks analytics, customization options, and promotional tools.
Why claim your profiles?
Section titled “Why claim your profiles?”Claiming your profiles gives you:

Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Make sure you have:
- At least one release already live on the platform
- Access to your official social media accounts
- Your UPC or ISRC codes (found in your LabelGrid dashboard)
- A professional email address

Priority order
Section titled “Priority order”We recommend claiming profiles in this order:
- Spotify — Largest streaming platform, most robust tools
- Apple Music — Second largest, strong analytics
- YouTube — Important for video and discovery
- TikTok — Growing discovery platform
- Other platforms — Based on your audience location and genre
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Can’t find your artist profile?
Section titled “Can’t find your artist profile?”- Make sure your release has been live for at least 24-48 hours
- Search using your exact artist name as it appears on the platform
- Check for duplicate profiles — contact support if you find any
Verification rejected?
Section titled “Verification rejected?”- Ensure your social media accounts are public during verification
- Use the same name across all platforms
- Make sure your profile photo is professional and matches your brand
Multiple artists with same name?
Section titled “Multiple artists with same name?”- Be as specific as possible when searching
- Use ISRC/UPC codes to identify your releases
- Contact the platform directly if there’s confusion
